RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
INSURANCE
Every renter must carry an active auto insurance policy that meets our coverage requirements. Your insurance must fully cover the rental vehicle for the entire duration of your reservation.
Minimum Insurance Requirements:
-
Liability coverage of at least $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident / $50,000 for property damage
-
Full Coverage: Comprehensive & Collision coverage with a deductible of $1,000 or less
-
Policy must be active for at least one week prior to the rental
-
The primary driver must be listed on the policy
Don’t have the right coverage? No problem.
Most insurance companies let you upgrade your policy instantly over the phone. It’s a quick call and you’ll be eligible to rent right away — no delays, no hassle.
Restricted Insurance Providers:
We do not accept high-risk or budget insurance providers:
-
The General
-
Vern Fonk
-
Any non-standard or high-risk insurer
Credit Card Coverage:
Some premium credit cards (e.g., American Express Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve) offer supplemental rental coverage. However, this cannot be used in place of a primary auto insurance policy. If using credit card coverage, it is your responsibility to confirm with your provider that it applies to exotic and luxury rentals.
Turo Rentals for GEICO Customers:
GEICO policies do not provide full coverage for rentals exceeding the value of the renter’s personal vehicle. If you own a $70,000 vehicle, GEICO will only cover up to $70,000 in damages, even if the rental vehicle is worth significantly more. If you have GEICO and do not own a comparable-value vehicle, your policy will not meet our insurance requirements. However, you may still rent through Turo, as their platform offers insurance options that cover exotic and luxury vehicles.
If your GEICO policy does not meet our insurance requirements, you can still book one of our vehicles through our Turo page, which provides its own insurance coverage for exotic and luxury rentals. For a direct booking link to your desired vehicle on Turo, please contact us.
Have Questions About Your Coverage?
If you are unsure whether your policy meets these requirements, please contact your insurance provider directly.
Minimum Age
Renters must be at least 18 years old. Those under 21 must have a primary driver aged 21+ with valid insurance and a credit card on file. The primary must be present at pickup and drop-off, but the 18-year-old may drive independently after pickup.
All drivers must carry active, verifiable insurance meeting our requirements. Drivers under 25 may incur a young driver fee.
To access the Red Key on the Hellcat, the driver must be 30+ — no exceptions.
We verify all ages and documents at pickup. False information will cancel the reservation without refund.
Drivers License
All renters must have a valid U.S. driver’s license that does not expire within one week of the rental return date. If you have a U.S. driver’s license, you may rent directly from us.
If you have a driver’s license issued outside the United States, you may still rent, but your booking must be made through Turo, which provides the necessary insurance coverage. Temporary, digital, or learner’s permits are not accepted. If your license is suspended, expired, or otherwise invalid, your reservation will be canceled with no refund.
